About the property

InStyle kennels calls Deloraine, Manitoba, Canada home. Deloraine is about 1 hour South of Brandon, and about 3 and a half hours from the capital, Winnipeg.

The house is located on a section, with a 25acre yardsite. The dogs have many, many large areas for them to strech their legs and run, with us either, walking, running or cheating and riding an ATV. The picture to the left is the yard as it is now, construction is now finished on the kennel. Read further down for details. We breed fawn and brindle Great Danes and Smooth Fox Terriers. We participate in conformation, agility and obedience.

We have a few fenced in areas that are large enough for our dogs and our clients dogs to run, as well as access to other areas for dogs who can be allowed off leash.

We go on at least 2 walks per day around our property with our pack on leashes and sometimes free running.  Our dogs are house dogs who spend their days lounging on the dog couchs and playing outside when the weather permits. During the night some of our dogs sleep in their kennels and the others get to sleep in the bedroom. In the bedroom they each have their own beds, but the terriers much prefer curling up on the danes, and I mean the danes themselves.

About Jaime

I have been involved in obedience, agility, flyball, tracking and conformation for over 15 years. I really enjoy being on center stage with my dogs while in the conformation ring, so most Canadian Kennel Club events we attend are dog shows.

After working with many different breeds, I have found my niche with Great Danes and Smooth Fox Terriers.  I love the way the danes who are easy going and laidback balance out the always moving, ever inquisitive terriers.

I am a member of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC),  and the Crocus Kennel Club. Growing up I lived in Beautiful British Columbia and there I was a member of the Great Dane Club of Western BC, and the Victoria City Kennel Club.

I have worked in a few different dog venues, such as a groomer, kennel manager, dog trainer and vet tech, all of which provided me with great oppertunities to learn new things.

I am now concentrating on Chic Allbreed handling, with grooming and boarding all the wonderful pets in the area.

About the Kennel

There are 4 separate areas, the first is the Kennel Area, here we have 20 indoor/outdoor runs with infloor heat to keep everyone warm on the cold winter nights. 10 pens lead out to 3x10 outdoor areas, 3 pens lead out to a 4x20 outdoor area, 6 pens lead out to a 5x10 outdoor area and the last pen is our 'deluxe suite' for multi dogs or giant breeds, and it is a 10x20foot outdoor area. All our chainlink kennels have cement outdoors.  All the pens are heavy-duty 6feet chainlink installed by PWR Fencing. They did a wonderful job and installed everything to our exact wants and needs. We use all stainless food and water dishes. In the kennels area the dogs get to listen to music, and get plently of one on one human attention, which they all love!

Then we have our storage area, which is home to our many freezers ( we feed raw food to our own dogs), our dog show paraphernalia and our van.

Next comes the Big room, it has our tables, huge dog dryer, bathtubs and other grooming supplies. It also is home to our kitchen, which has the usual fridge, stove and freezer.

Last is our puppy rooms. These rooms are fully enclosed 9x10rooms, also with infloor heat. One room leads out to a 10 by 20 foot playpen, and the other to a 20 by 40foot playpen. These rooms are used when we are not around to watch the puppies and their moms.

Pictures will be added shortly.
