Temperament: Smooth Fox Terriers were bred to bolt foxes from the den so the huntsmen and the hounds could continue the hunt. Because of this background fox terriers like to hunt any small vermin. They can be very stubborn, willful and they are very active. They can also be very loving, highly intelligent and affectionate. They are a high energy breed that is not suited to a sedentary lifestyle. Our dogs like to do agility and other high energy activities.
 

Size: The should not exceed 15 1/2inches at the shoulder and weight is around 18lbs for males and females are proportionally less.
 

Our terriers are trained from a young age, and we believe this is why they are such fantastic dogs. Ours are great both on and off leash and thoroughly enjoy racing around the acreage at top speed, once their energy has been drained a little they are more then happy to cuddle on the couch, enjoying a relaxing evening.
